Requirements for application

Musicians from the fields of electronica, improvised music, hip-hop, jazz, pop/indie and rock and their interfaces.

Full-time (self-)employment as a musician for at least six years. We define a full-time musician as someone who earns at least half of their living through their musical activity OR who devotes at least half of their normal working hours (42 hours/week) to their musical activity.

Membership in a professional association (e.g. SONART, Deutsche Jazzunion, Pro Musik) or in an interest group (e.g. Helvetiarockt, Music Women* Germany). Copyright and collecting societies (GEMA, GVL, SUISA, etc.) are explicitly not meant here.

Residence AND tax registration in Switzerland or Germany
